Moses Field’s Flint Water Drive
People across the world are stepping up to help those in Flint, Michigan during their water crisis. Moses Field School wanted to do their share and show support as well.
During the week of January 25th – February 5th classroom 16 (Laura Rink) discussed the critical need of why clean water is needed in Flint as quickly as possible. The school begin to receive donated bottles of water which was stacked in the school until February 5th, where parents took time out if their busy day along with students and staff to load a Trinity bus with 2650 bottles of water.
The bus carrying water, staff and students rode to Flint to deliver the donated water to the Catholic Charities of Shiawassee and Genesee Counties. The district supported our efforts for this event which is being duplicated by cities and schools in our area.
